A Ceramic / UHMWPE - Polyethylene construction brings this plate down to an incredible ~ 4.3 lbs. - while still stopping the 5.56 mm Green Tip threats that many Level III plates are not rated to stop.

NIJ Certified NIJ 0101.06 Level III passing the brutal drop test. We even add cushioning on the edges not required by the test. This plate is designed to withstand abuse in a war zone.
