Two Year Warranty We will repair or replace (at our option), free of charge, any NukeAlert that fails within the first two years after purchase. The purchase date may be established by our records or copies of evidence provided by the purchaser. This warranty is transferable. This warranty does not cover abuse, physical destruction, or any unit that has been intentionally opened by the user. Failure may be indicated by a unit that no longer produces the “ticking” sound or by a unit that exhibits constant chirping or other sounds. Prorated Ten Year Warranty After the expiration of the two year warranty, we will repair or replace (at our option), any NukeAlert, returned for any reason for: 1/120 of the our full sale price (at the time the unit is returned) for the same or equivalent device, multiplied by the number of months elapsed since the purchase, plus $10 shipping and handling. For example; A unit returned 30 months after the sale date and with our current retail price of $160 each, would be replaced or repaired for ($160/120) X 30 + $10 s&h = $50. NukeAlerts repaired under this warranty will be opened, repaired, the battery replaced, sealed into a new enclosure with fresh desiccant and tested for calibration. |
